Gnome 3.0 and desktop 3D?

After passing one of my usual because the forum's Techzone, I read something about Gnome 3.0.
There are no plans for the GNOME 3.0 release at this time.
As you can read the official site, there are no plans. But when passing by Scratchpad, I saw something interesting.
2.5D Desktop
Here you can read about ideas on a desktop 2.5. Referring to site Bumptop which already features a 3D desktop. Where you can see the following video (Youtube):
I am enthusiastic about this idea. But to imagine me with a 3D desktop, the two one:
* Or get desktop super organized and simple to use, or
* I have a VERY messy desktop with stacks of files not organized until losing sight of.
See this implemented in a Gnome 3.0 would be fantastic. But perhaps impossible.
But is not everything, not on the Gnome, but the 3D Desktop. I found this site, Tileui, where we can test something to 3 dimensions. Wow! Perhaps the Gnome 3 if it may be similar. But these are my guesses.
